My name is Allyson Sanders and I am the 8th grade math and Algebra 1 teacher at Larry Larson Middle School. I was born in Bowling Green, Ohio and graduated from Bowling Green State University with a bachelor’s degree in math education. I also have a master’s degree in teacher leadership from University of Illinois Springfield. This is my 9th year in the classroom and I am excited to be spending it here in Grandview. Prior to Grandview, I spent time in Alexandria, Virginia teaching high school Algebra 1 and honors Geometry. I have also taught middle school math and Algebra 1 in Springfield, Illinois. The middle school environment has always been close to my heart and I am overjoyed to back with middle schoolers!
