Day 1 of Camp Invention 2019 is in the books! It's a Superheroes theme this summer for 130 campers. Campers are engaging in four hands-on learning activity centers: Innovation Force, DIY Orbot, Farm Tech, and Deep Sea Mystery.

In Innovation Force, campers create, name, and disguise a superhero. In DIY Orbot, campers build and customize bots to take on different challenges. In Farm Tech, they learn and explore hydrophobic sand and the future of farming. In Deep Sea Mystery, campers explore and study sea animal fossils to determine if they are extinct or still swimming today.

In partnership with the National Inventors Hall of Fame, Edison Intermediate/Larson Middle School is pleased to offer the nationally-acclaimed Camp Invention program to children entering grades K-6.

Camp Invention is an exciting, week long summer adventure with lessons that explore connections between science, technology, engineering and innovation. Children will work together to seek solutions to real-world problems and sharpen critical 21st Century Learning Skills while rotating through several fascinating modules.
