The Grandview Heights/Marble Cliff Education Foundation is excited to announce its 2020 Gala.  This year's theme is There's No Place Like Home.  The Gala will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 555 North High Street. 

The Gala is where the Grandview Heights and Marble Cliff communities gather to celebrate and support its outstanding public schools and community. The Gala features dinner, cocktails, auctions, live music, and student performances.  Event and ticket information can be found here.

Proceeds from the Gala support the community and district wide grants-making program.  A few of last year's grants include:

  • $25,000 in scholarships granted to eight Grandview Heights High School Seniors
  • $18,000 to Stevenson Elementary community space
  • $13,000 to Wellness Program for salad bar in the school cafeteria
  • $11,950 for string instruments at Grandview Heights High School
  • $8,000 for First Grade Coding Program
  • $7,003f for Biotech training
  • $5,000 for Celeste Ng author visit with the Grandview Heights Public Library
  • $3,700 for Art of Play program at Stevenson Elementary
  • $3,369 to support the Grandview Heights Public Library Summer Reading Program
  • $2,895 for school architecture at Grandview Heights High School
  • $1,235 to support expansion of the First Robotics Program at Grandview Heights High School
  • $875 for ELC Cooperative Games
  • $800 to Ohio Craft Museum art studio classroom
  • $700 for guest author Jason Reynolds
