March 2021 Citizens of the Month

EILMS Students Recognized for Citizenship, Good Character

Congratulations to 10 outstanding Edison Intermediate & Larson Middle School students who were named Citizens of the Month for the month of March on Wednesday, March 31. This program, generously sponsored by the Northwest Kiwanis Club, has been a Grandview Heights Schools tradition for 40 years. Each student was presented with a $10 gift card to Local Cantina generously sponsored by the Northwest Kiwanis Club. Northwest Kiwanis Club is an international service organization that provides meaningful impact locally and globally including sponsoring the Grandview Heights Schools Citizen of the Month program for more than 40 years. During the 2020-2021 school year, the Citizen of the Month Program will be guided by the district's Learning Attributes for the selection of the Citizens of the Month. Staff members will refer to the Learning Attributes Rubric to guide their nominations. Each month, a different attribute will be highlighted and two students from each grade level who represent and model the highlighted attribute will be selected to be named Citizens of the Month.
