Following a robust search and process that included students, staff, and parents, Grandview Heights Schools is pleased to announce that Samuel Belk has been selected to serve as the next principal of Grandview Heights High School.  Mr. Belk is scheduled to be board approved at its regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, May 11, 2022.  His official start date is August 1, 2022.

 

Mr. Belk comes to Grandview Heights High School with more than a decade of school leadership experience.  He is presently serving in his third year as the Assistant Principal at Upper Arlington High School.  He previously served as a high school assistant principal in Southwestern City Schools.  He also taught high school mathematics for seven years. 

 

Mr. Belk holds a Master’s of Education in Educational Leadership/Administration from Ashland University, a Bachelor’s of Science in Financial Management & Business Administration from Hillsdale College, and Integrated Mathematics Education licensure.

 

“Grandview Heights Schools is excited to welcome Sam Belk as the next principal of Grandview Heights High School.  He will bring a wealth of high school leadership experience to Grandview Heights High School and our district and is known for his kindness and ability to build great relationships with students, staff, and families,” said Superintendent Andy Culp. 

 

Mr. Belk and his wife, Jennifer, have two children, Brock and Dru, and live in Grove City.
