We are proud to share that the Attributes for Success are becoming embedded into our daily language and school culture. Students are increasingly able to name the attributes, explain what they mean, and demonstrate them in both academic and social settings. This work directly supports our Strategic Plan and district goal of ensuring every student feels a strong sense of belonging while developing skills for a well-balanced life.
As we move into Semester 2, we are excited to take this work a step further by launching the Attributes for Success Student Spotlight. Each month, teachers will nominate students who exemplify the featured attribute. Selected students will:
-
Receive a certificate
-
Be recognized with a small gift card to Lion’s Cub’s Cookies
-
Have their photo displayed in the cafeteria and on the TV near the main entrance
-
Have a letter sent home to families celebrating their recognition
Our monthly focus will continue, allowing us to celebrate students who consistently demonstrate these important qualities while reinforcing positive behaviors and growth.
