Dear Grandview Heights Students, Families, and Staff,

At this time, The Ohio State University has announced that the “Shelter in Place” has been lifted and therefore we are no longer on a Level 1 lockdown as of 11:57 a.m.

We would like to offer our thoughts and prayers to the families impacted by the events that took place at The Ohio State University today. Sadly, a tragedy like this can happen anywhere and at anytime.

We have received some questions from parents about what protocol and procedures our school district has in place in the event such a tragedy should occur on our Grandview Heights School campuses.  Safety is our number one priority.  We do have a plan in place to handle such situations.  It is an unfortunate necessity.  We would also like to acknowledge the Grandview Heights Police Department and their continued partnership in keeping our students and staff safe.
