Congratulations to the FIRST Robotics Team 128, aka the Botcats, on their excellent performance in a very tough Week 5 competition at the Buckeye Regional March 31 through April 1, 2017. The robot worked flawlessly delivering gears to the airship, playing defense and shooting fuel in the boiler. The robot never experienced one mechanical failure which is a huge credit to the mechanical, pneumatics, and controls groups.
Team 128 member Taylor Wilson was one of two participants named a Dean's List Finalist and will compete in the upcoming Championships in St. Louis, MO. Only two finalists were named at the Regional Competition out of 120 nominees. Congratulations to Taylor and all of the Botcats and sincere thanks to Sue Godez and the many parent and community volunteer mentors for their leadership.
