Community Outreach Event

Interested in hearing more about the Grandview Heights High School fall play The Laramie Project?  Come to a community forum, led by Director April Olt, on Thursday, October 5, at 6:30 p.m. in the Grandview Heights High School Auditorium.  Learn more about this production, the process, and the community organizations that the Performing Arts department is working with in producing this play.  

 

The Laramie Project is a play about the reaction to the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, a gay student from the University of Wyoming.  Attendees will have the opportunity to to hear monologues from the play, ask questions, and learn more about the events and activities planned around the play. Representatives from GLSEN, BRAVO, Kaleidoscope, and GHHS GSA will also participate in the forum.

 

Performances will be Thursday, November 2, at 7 p.m., Friday, November 3, at 7 p.m., and Saturday, November 4, at 7 p.m. in the Grandview Heights High School Auditorium.  Cost is $5.00 general admission/students $1 for Thursday ONLY.
