Stevenson Elementary third graders are capping off their study of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) with a local business fundraiser at The Candle Lab located at 1255 Grandview Avenue. In addition to learning about the work of the WWF, the students learned about sponsorship and that's what led to The Candle Lab partnership.
The students fundraised at the school level and raised enough money to adopt five animals, but they would like to raise more money for the WWF with their Candle Lab partnership.
On Wednesday, May 9, 2018, The Candle Lab will donate 20% of all profits to support our Stevenson Elementary students' project. Stop by The Candle Lab anytime between Monday, May 7, and Friday, May 11, and contribute to the donation jar and you will receive a trinket especially created by the students to thank you for your generosity.
