The annual Bobcat Move-A-Thon is Wednesday, October 10, 2018, and is the primary PTO fundraiser of the year for grades K-8 helping to fund activities such as Science Day, All Arts Day, Foodie Friday, Brain Blast, and so much more. In addition, PTO hopes to earmark a portion of the funds to provide further funding for the media center(s).
Students are motivated to walk, run, skip, hop, anreven dance in celebration of their efforts to help raise money for the PTO. Students are encouraged to collect donations - a one time donation, not a per lap donation - and are instructed to use the following language when collecting:
"Hi! I am a student here in Grandview Heights Schools. This year I am participating in a one-day walkathon style fundraiser to raise money for our PTO school activities. Would you be able to help by donating today? This is a flat donation not a per lap pledge. We accept cash and checks can be made out to EILMS PTO. Thank you!"
