These students were congratulated for all their hard work throughout the week today. The students recorded the greatest number of minutes spent reading after school this week. All the students in the building should be commended for the amazing amount of minutes recorded. Reading makes better readers!

From coast to coast, more than 45 million readers, both young and old, are gearing up for the nation's largest reading celebration. Here at RLS, teachers and students will be celebrating reading all week.

Stevenson Elementary had 26 students participate in the BrainBLAST! Science & Creativity Fair hosted by the PTO. Some of the topics included: Solar System, Composting, Dogs and Twins, and Legos. The students took great pride in sharing their knowledge with students, staff and community members.
