Hager, Sara » Welcome

My name is Sara Hager and I am very excited to begin my eighth year in Grandview Heights City Schools! I am an Intervention Specialist, working with students and teachers at both EILMS and GHHS. I have also served as the middle school basketball cheerleading coach for the past two years.

Prior to teaching in Grandview, I was a 3rd Grade Intervention Specialist in South-Western City Schools for six years.  I graduated from Ohio University in 2005 with my B.S. in Special Education. In 2011, I added a Reading Endorsement to my teaching license and then went on to earn my Master’s degree in Literacy Education from The Ohio State University in 2012.

In 2015, I successfully completed Ohio State’s Computer/Technology Endorsement Program. I also recently earned my Senior Professional Educator License- Intervention Specialist (K-12).

I live with my husband Jeff, a high school science teacher, and my two cats, Spaulding and Ethel, in our home just a few blocks from Grandview.  We enjoy being able to walk to different restaurants and shops in the Grandview community, as well as attending different local sporting events and community events. Grandview is such a special place and I am so appreciative to work with such dedicated staff, parents, students, and community members!
