Welcome

My name is Hope McDonald and I am an Intervention Specialist for students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade. I am also a certified Orton-Gillingham instructor. I am currently perusing training to become a behavior specialist. I live in Grove City with my husband (Matthew) and my three children (Mack, Georgia, and Parker).

This is my fifth year of teaching, all of which have been in Grandview. I graduated with a BS from The Ohio State University with a degree in Human Development and Family Science. I worked as a paraprofessional for 3 years while obtaining my Master’s Degree in Special Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. I have also worked as an ABA specialist at a center for students with Autism.

I love my job and feel very fortunate to teach in Grandview. I work with a very talented group of students, teachers and administrators. We continue to learn from each other on a daily basis. I am looking forward to another wonderful school year.
