My name is Emily Deprez and this is my 5th year at Stevenson.  I am originally from the Cleveland area and studied Spanish at The College of Wooster.  I live in Hilliard with my husband who teaches 3rd Grade in Hilliard. We have two beautiful daughters named Alexis and Riley and also two cats; Buddy and Brutus.
 
This is my 16th year teaching Spanish and my 10th year at the elementary level.  I have taught previously at Hilliard Davidson High School and Millbrook Elementary in Raleigh, North Carolina. I began learning Spanish in the 6th grade and immediately fell in love with the language and culture.  While in college I had the amazing opportunity to spend a semester abroad in Cordoba, Spain and have also traveled to Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. I am very passionate about early language education and am beyond thrilled about the development of the K-5 Spanish program here in Grandview!
