that job if there was a need for production we were making that much money and then I worked at Target I mean it's not really something you want to do for the rest of your life and it was like there's no opportunity for advancement right I mean I was making decent money at Target I was making $16 sour it was great I was working the health and beauty section snow beautiful all the time but it just can do that you don't think I want to travel as you heard from my introduction I've been dragging couple times and then I'll show you some other place and then and then the money like I said I made $50 an hour wasn't green Missy I like the Air Force ones that that and then the retirement is absolutely amazing for the Air Force A1C humble with me his job is way cooler than mine that's one reason I brought him he that he OD Tech you ever seen the movie The Hurt Locker anybody crazy but he does so he's pretty much awesome at life so where you from I'm from Marysville Ohio what's up any as a Buckeyes fan by the way so it's getting around on the bus  this guy here give me the lower-ranking me at the lottery spec for him he's going to save people's lives by you know defusing bombs in Iraq or even what he should have been here in the states so they they help out with the local police 770 run down to the day down to the hour if I don't have everything planned my boss is yelling at me all whole bunch of factors help screen how do you score on your test again score at least a 50 on the ASVAB to get in the Air Force only other branches are like 36 for the F-35 and then give up the maps if you like the worst physically never done your life I think I don't have to do it once and then that management death is our delayed entry program volume after you've already made a pass at as you've already made it to the physical you've already qualify for jobs you listen your job you're waiting for a job but we do pt and Wheeler you are the ranks and doo doo the airman's Creed just a sensation working stuff like that alright so how much money are you going to make in the Air Force that's good looks like it's $15 in the first year it's $1,531 for 40 unless he's alright but if you sign for 6 years you're going to no more money I make $1,805 and then what you get the next rank  next 20 to 25 32 3741 5000 train here it goes again right because each year you're in for the first three years you get an increase in money so once you hit your fourth year it's just single years after that next biannually increasing your pay you also get like a 1% increase in money from like the play for cost-of-living so a lot of people out there or getting their pay reduce every year in the Air Force I've had an increase in money at least or at least every other year and then the reason I showed all the way to E9 is what kind of a we get to retirement so at the end you can you can make up to like it's closer like 50 200 catalytic self go ahead and seem like this is my wife how much do you think it cost to have her in a hospital how much does it cost to have a baby in hospital right now  anybody hear the teachers right right so if I were to get billed for having a little girl it cost me $0 what about the show you how much your saving the bill for the hospital bill for a day and a half day was $13,000 we paid $0 to have that child so all your medical benefits 100 can pay for the only thing you do have to pay for it however is if you have a family it's like $30 a month for dental insurance at cost that covers like a couple major surgeries we're at all like the routine stuff so  the all your rent is paid for so if you're if you're a senior Airman below which is one rank higher than him one lower than me you're going to live in the dorms it's basically going to be like a college shine atmosphere there's like there's a, living area and have like a fridge it has like a stove so you can cook at the oven cable within your individual rooms is it this year you'll have like your closet in your own bathroom and shower that time to do what you make senior Airman can you move off base or moving to a house and the house is free all right you don't pay for anything if you live off base for example I live off base here in Columbus give me $1,108 a month I got a brand new home 2 story 2000 square feet so also if you don't pay for utility so that's another way to say any right there at all your food is paid for and you live on base you can eat it you just show me gear for the military and and you can eat four times a day for free cuz we have we have midnight child for people that work like second and third shift  watch you hits you hear me you get a monthly stipend for $300 a month for food and came by the store that's that's more than enough to cover Supermarket beer sale E2 to E3 it takes a year and then e340 18 months or two years how you get the two years or two years to get that automatically 18 months Gibby very special to do a lot of volunteer work your your supervisor have to put you in what we call Airman below the zone and then you make that right that much faster so what you hit me for you then start testing for staff sergeant which is my pay and it's it's basically like an an individual test how to test you on whatever career field you're in and then like that they Air Force like customs and courtesies outside also what you get six of the same and then he 7u you end up going to a board they take your annual review and then they to go along with your test test scores and that's how you make XO questions on that like if he's a buddy travel I got Stateside over overseas on the way that works is what you go through basic you go to your text right that's how that's where you learn your job and they give you five choices on where you want to go actually got my second choice so I went to California how do you do you can list your choices but it doesn't mean you're going to go where you want to go if they if they don't need you there they're not going to send you there it's basically your that's one of them call back to join the military if they need you somewhere else they're going to send you where they need you so like I said I've been diagnosed pretty sweet actually the army hi I've been on Blackhawks and Huey C-130 pretty much any type of playing you can think of I africom void all over the country Billy bases up so the Army can live like like the Airforce does because you talked to anybody Air Force has it better than any other branch I'm in the Kawai of vacation idea was just stop having to Germany I neither the states I've been to like just for training only and then all the travel you're going to do in the Air Force for training it's all paid for for example when I was doing recruiter training I went out to Texas at Lackland Air Force Base for like 60 days and the whole thing was paid for you figure that's like a $3,000 bill right there just for that hotel and then they pay for your flights I took the train one time to North Dakota just cuz the higher I think I thought it was a good idea so that wasn't that fun you still pay for me it's a it's a Barrett so pretty close we are just doing that for fun we hook me up with showers so the first started took us out and he's like I had a shower in 18 days you guys play around with these guns for a while so that's what we did was pretty sweet alright it's like all of our training credited how we do that everybody is a joint Air Force is entered into the Community College of the Air Force all right and that's that's how they give you credits for school as a plumber I had 17 credits transfer to my core classes towards my degree and I'm getting it I work at a Skating master y'all have it next year so  how many you get for you have to take like 6 more classes before and Associates and then all our Technical Training is all school it's really Hands-On like like for plumbing we learn how to do like I said fix toilets fix a Little Charmers and I'll talk like girls showers work on Palm set type of deal is a little different so like what was your text like techno training like you think we use a lot of training AIDS cuz they don't trust you with live Ordnance you don't know what you're doing just fair but you do have explosives in my career field but you only do it what's the time a lot of it's just training AIDS and if you would die then they fail you so like I said you had written has to write so  are Technical Training depending on what job you get you can write anywhere from wake the two years the six-week is like it's like passing management and then the two years is like our language school where you learn another language and spy on other countries wherever  and then once you get to your first base you continue to do training on our development courses like level  like test based on what you're learning at your first base and then you're always going to have upgrade training in your career feel like I said when I got to wash can I get my state license and in water so basically all I did there it was easy living I just checked powers I did the labs for all the water on base they check the chemicals and the chlorine levels and then I learn how to work on like cuz I have it here like the ceiling sprinklers they put out fires only have work on that type of stuff this isn't it was a too exciting but it's tough I could take out into the real world and if I wanted to get out of here Force I could right now and I could get hired anywhere so this is me I was trying to skate on how to hook up a manifold system up to  rf4 take manifold system up so we can we can supply and that was an another time in Iraq to slide Recreation Air Force who plays for Sports yes I actually believe it or not I went to college and play football I was really fast that now I'm just fat sports team because we have softball Jeff soccer my favorite is it a real Golf and leave during the day just go play golf and it kind of depends on who's in charge of you yeah we have sports teams will give you something to do after work now will some steam I'll play some play some sports almost every base has a golf course I think every race actually have the boys and then the movie theaters movie theaters that cost like for $3 to see a movie and then if there's like a military movie that comes out it's always released first and then that usually free to see it they play American Sniper your base hi there is there was one I can't remember the last one was the days they showed it for free and my last day so everybody's cool it's like it's basic like your LA Fitness that's usually really nice nice Jim when I was at Fairchild in Washington they put in a brand new jamming at an indoor track and I mean it would it was beautiful but the reason I do that is because you have to stay in shape to be in the military what can you do or like the weekends on base there's clothes on Pacers they listed Club there's the officer club they're trying to get rid of those so they can hang out together pretty much not have such a separation but there is two places you can you can dance you can have your adult drink self-timer Recreation  the Air Force is little more stressful than your average I'm not going to lie especially with this what always have done expectations are we going to be cold but we get 30 days a year that's that's two and a half days a month so if I want to go on vacation rain for like 3 days in advance on my boss now and he'll give me that time if you don't use all that  you can basically a crew do the next year until you get up to 75 days and then you start losing it but it's pretty good I think I got like 50 two days of vacation right now so and then we get I go back on  and then we we we get like pretty much every like holiday off every government holiday looks like a family day I like a Monday so you really get a lot of time off of it or not I love baseball we got free tickets to go see the Sacramento Kings play basketball we got discount tickets to the like the 49ers football games actually got a free I got a free ticket to see one of them it was but they also have like discounts to like you like rap hip-hop metal that's a good deal I just did another 100 like NASCAR like if I still went the Brickyard I got a free ticket to go do that and I got to hold the flag in the pits before the Before the Race started the national anthem this pretty sweet though wish I pictures out of Education I have it the Air Force gives you time and it's actually requirement  on your your annual evaluation would you have to have classes per year to show that you're advancing in your education and with the post 9/11 GI Bill if it's a pretty good deal to place a tuitions it's a before so if you're ready to go to Ohio State. It's going to cost you $1,000 a year nobody's in the scholarship  if I want to get a scholarship in here so that's kind of like that so I said it going to college  Wreck It Up $44,000 in debt for 4 years why not just join the Airforce and have them pay for it and get paid why you're why you're getting this GI Bill they're going to pay it they're going to pay for your books which I just I did a quick Google search how much of books cost weather in the number was 600 by put a 500 just Bucket Place with people turned it over exaggerating yeah I built going to pay your rent in the area so for example in this area to $1,180 I have a brand new home it's two story like I said by 2000 Murphy is bill this month and when you're a college obviously you're not going to pay her $8 and the cheapest apartment you can get and then use the restroom how do you get this alright I know I said there for your contracts some people do get hurt and they have to get out early you deserve at least 3 years to get to get the full benefits for this and if you don't it's just like a percentage down right so you also have to pay $100 out of your first years paycheck sounds like a lot of that alright fine if you want to go while you're in you can use this social assistance it's $4,500 a year for each year how are you do you have to pay for your books but like I said you you can write those off in your that you can write those off your taxes if you want to go while you're in there there is colleges at every base that are on base deers it's like the University of send University of Phoenix and who's won more can't think of it right now but I mean you can Google that he'll figure it out but they're actually like what type of education colleges if you go and you sit down the classroom or if you prefer you can do all night that's what I'm doing right now I'm try to get my degree in Security Management is there a Phoenix online so I can get my second my GI Bill to my daughter play righteous we have 3 * 3 * 8 degrees as the rest of the rest of the branches know how we do that is because everybody is enrolled into the Community College of the Air Force and it all of those credits are transferred towards your degree like he was saying he had to get like five cry or five classes classes next it like I said you have to have 2 classes per year so he's going to come even if he just doesn't two classes for year he's in have an associate's degree in 3 years nothing else jobs we need in the Air Force we always need mechanical does anybody know why we need mechanical jobs because we need to keep the planes in the air that is our mission we are like it support technician we fly people around we drop bomb and that's that's the main thing that's going does US play the area mechanical on the electrical jobs in this a little bit earlier the language job is anybody learn a different language like I said there's like there's like 10 different languages you can learn and basically you have to take a  a special test judge your ability to learn a different language that's called the Defense Language aptitude battery test with a long but basically you learn another language and then spy on people in different countries listen to conversations no nobody 2 minutes left play people that are in combat situation and they're certified paramedics alright I'm try to see this a little bit spec ops weather basically you're the point of a location and you reporting what time like weather back to the base  and then you want to say nobody what you doing in disposal you
