Kindergarten Registration Information

A Message from Principal Lisa Sullivan
Regarding Registration for the 2022-2023 School Year

Dear Families,

In kindergarten, it is our mission to provide a supportive environment in which children can grow as learners and as members of a community. Through thoughtful activities, students learn to interact with one another in a caring way while learning the academics and social skills they need to be successful. Children are empowered to imagine, explore, problem-solve, and become independent learners. Children are encouraged to solve problems on their own and communicate their thoughts and feelings. Kindergartners learn to be accountable for their choices and use mistakes as learning opportunities. We are committed to developing and honoring the whole child. Resources regarding kindergarten readiness are below:

Welcoming your child to kindergarten is one of the most exciting times of the year. Please be sure to carefully read the registration information and procedures as well as the Frequently Asked Questions below.  While the registration part of the process is detailed, it paves the way for what I know will be an exciting learning adventure in the fall.

A video presentation of Kindergarten Parent Information Night, held January 25, 2021, is attached below.  The two week window for Kindergarten registration will begin on January 26, 2022.  I look forward to meeting each of you soon and the members of the Class of 2035.

There is an after school program, Kids' Club, at Stevenson Elementary, though space is limited and priority is given to the siblings of children already in the program.  A few weeks before Kids' Club registration opens for the 2022-2023 school year, you will receive an email that will give you a registration link and the time that the URL (link) will be live.

  • Registrations will be time stamped.
  • All information must be complete in order to be accepted.
  • Available spots will be awarded in the order completed registrations are received.
