Grandview Heights Schools Kids' Club offers students an enriching out of school experience in an environment that is safe and nurturing. We strive to create an environment that offers a safe and comfortable atmosphere, encouraging autonomy, independence and mutual respect amongst peers. Our program promotes freedom within boundaries and encourages creativity and individual expression. Kids' Club provides activities that reflect the needs of all the children while also taking into consideration each child's individual needs. We respect and promote acceptance of cultural diversity within the program and community.
The Kids' Club program serves families enrolled in the Grandview Heights School district. It is our goal to serve as many families in need of before and after-school care as possible. Kids' Club provides both before and after school care for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade at Stevenson Elementary along with 4th and 5th students at Larson Middle School. Additionally, we offer a summer camp for students entering 1st grade through 5th grade. Our program runs according to the Grandview Heights Schools calendar and offers a number of additional care days throughout the year which may include care during professional development days, teacher work days and parent-teacher conferences.
Kids’ Club Philosophy Kids’ Club strives to meet the needs of every child enrolled in the program by ensuring that children are provided with an environment that is safe and nurturing. Kids’ Club strives to create a flexible, developmentally appropriate environment that promotes:
