Summer 2020 Program


Program Dates: June 1st-July 31st (pending board approval) 


 Priority registration for currently enrolled families will begin March 2nd and be open through March 13th, 2020. 

Current family refers to any family that is in the before/after school year program for the 2019-2020 school year and any eligible siblings.   During this time, families will be provided with a link to complete verifying your enrollment is the summer program along with your schedule and and agreement.  Once completed, we will ask that you pay the summer registration fee listed below.   (This fee includes all field trip and activities for the program) . 


Open enrollment for all other families will begin March 16th 2020. All students must have completed one (1) full year of full-day kindergarten in the Grandview Heights Schools in order to participate in the summer 2020 program. A link will be posted March 16th 2020 to take you to an initial request for summer enrollment. Kids' Club will be notified of your request. During the open registration period, registration will be open to families not currently enrolled in Grandview Heights Schools Kids' Club Program. Placement in the program will be based on capacity. If new family registration applications exceed the number of available spots in the program, those families will be placed on a waitlist.  Upon acceptance into the summer program you will receive a parent portal access link inviting you to set-up your parent account and complete the "Sandbox" enrollment process. You must set-up your account within 48 hours of receiving your parent portal access link. Once completed you will receive more information regarding forms and payment due dates. 


**Parent portal access links will be sent out once accepted into the summer program. You will not be officially accepted into the summer program until the enrollment process is complete and initial fees are paid. 


Summer Kids’ Club Location/Hours

Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.


Summer Kids’ Club Registration Fee (non-refundable)  

The registration fee includes, but is not limited to, transportation (VAT) expenses, field trip admissions, special visitor fees, and club t-shirts, .  All payments, including the registration fees, should be paid using the District’s EZpay System at

1 Child: $125.00
2 Children: $200.00
3 Children: $225.00


Weekly Tuition Charges:

Tuition for the first week of Summer Kids’ Club attendance is due on or before, Friday May 31, 2019. All following tuition payments are due the Friday before the week of attendance.


Full Time (4-5 Days / Week)

1 Child: $148.00 per week
2 Children: $292.00 per week

3 Children: $436.00 per week


Part Time (3 Days / Week):

1 Child $115.00 per week
2 Children: $227.00 per week

3 Children: $339.00 per week


Flex Schedule Fee (Optional):

The Flex Schedule Fee is an optional payment, ($75 per child) made upon confirmation into the program, that allows families to choose the weeks they will utilize Summer Kids’ Club. Families must register for a minimum of five (5) weeks when using the flex schedule fee option.   Families that do not wish to participate in the flex schedule fee option are responsible for weekly tuition fees for the entire 9-week program (either the full or part time program), regardless of attendance. Discounts are not given for holidays or calamity days.


Example Calculation: Say you wish to enroll two (2) children full-time (4-5 days/week) for six (6) of the nine (9) weeks of Summer Kids’ Club, this would be your calculation:

Registration fees for two (2) children ($200.00)

+ Flex fees for two (2) children ($75 x 2 = $150) due upon enrollment in the program


$350.00 due by April 24, 2020.


Please note: Weekly tuition charges are due every Friday starting Friday, May 29, 2020.
